The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes overall well-being and early emotional intelligence. Key Responsibilities: Observe and assess children’s behavior, emotions, and social development. Provide one-on-one and group counseling to children who may need emotional or behavioral support. Collaborate with teachers to design and implement classroom strategies that promote positive behavior. Guide and counsel parents on age-appropriate emotional and social development. Conduct workshops for staff and parents on child psychology, behavior management, and early intervention. Identify any developmental delays or concerns and refer to specialists if needed. Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress over time. Support school-wide well-being and mental health initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology / Child Development / Counseling or related field. Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred. Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Ability to connect with young children and create a safe, trusting space. Knowledge of early childhood development and behavioral interventions. Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive.
