Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Srinagar. The Accountant will be responsible for handling general accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with financial regulations, assisting in audits, and maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions. The Accountant will also analyze financial data, assist in budget preparation, and provide insights to support the company's financial decisions. Qualifications Proficiency in Financial Accounting, Bookkeeping, and preparing Financial Statements Strong analytical skills required for Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Cost Management Knowledge of Taxation Laws, Compliance, and Audit practices Experience with Accounting Software and proficiency in Excel and other financial tools Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification) Previous experience in an accounting role is preferred
