Job Title: Sales Assistant Department: Sales / Business Development Reports To: Sales Manager Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time Job Summary: The Sales Assistant supports promoting, demonstrating, and selling software products and services to potential clients. This role involves assisting with lead generation, client communication, proposal preparation, and maintaining customer records. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn about software solutions and the sales process. Key Responsibilities: Assist sales representatives with daily administrative and sales support tasks. Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone. Schedule and coordinate product demos, meetings, and follow-ups with clients. Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and presentations. Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system. Support the creation of marketing materials and sales campaigns. Conduct preliminary research on prospects and market trends. Track and report sales metrics and progress to the Sales Manager. Coordinate with technical and customer support teams to ensure client satisfaction. Learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of company software products and competitors. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience in sales, customer service, or administrative support preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of software products, SaaS, or technology sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience with sales automation tools. Familiarity with digital marketing and lead generation techniques. Knowledge of B2B software markets or SaaS business models.
