Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Electrical Engineer to manage end-to-end electrical and ELV works for commercial, industrial, warehousing, and infrastructure projects. The role involves reviewing design drawings, preparing BOQs/BOMs and budgets, executing projects on site, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities1. Design Review & Planning Review Electrical, ELV, Fire Alarm, Data, CCTV, Access Control, PA and structured cabling drawings . Review external electrical infrastructure including street lighting, feeder pillars, cabling and earthing systems . Prepare detailed BOQ/BOM and project budgets based on drawings and specifications. Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations. 2. Project Execution & Control Plan, execute, monitor, and control all electrical and ELV works at site. Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and vendors to ensure smooth execution. Manage procurement, material inspections, MIRs, and joint measurement records (JMRs) . Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and timelines. 3. Electrical & ELV Systems Expertise Execute LV & MV electrical systems , including: Power distribution Lighting systems DB installation and dressing Cable containment and earthing Handle ELV systems : Fire Alarm Systems CCTV & Surveillance Access Control Public Address (PA) Systems Structured Cabling Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Prepare and submit as-built drawings and documentation . 4. Safety, Quality & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards . Implement and monitor site safety protocols and risk assessments . Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, statutory regulations, and industry standards . Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits. 5. Team & Stakeholder Management Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors . Manage manpower planning and productivity. Foster a collaborative, employee-centric work environment. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines. 6. Project Lifecycle Management Manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects: Planning & design coordination Construction & execution Commissioning & handover Decommissioning (where applicable) Identify customer requirements and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions. Monitor project budgets and control costs to achieve financial targets. Implement energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions .
