We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting operations, data entry, and financial reporting, preferred within NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) environments. Key Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. Maintain accurate financial records in Tally and ERP systems . Prepare and file GST returns and TDS . Assist in monthly and annual closing of accounts. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-company transactions. Support audits and financial documentation as required. Key Skills & Competencies: NBFC accounting experience (Preferred). Proficiency in Tally and ERP systems. Strong knowledge of GST & TDS. Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Good understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Candidate Profile: Graduate in Commerce or related field. 6- 10 years of relevant accounting experience. Prior experience in NBFC sector will be an added advantage.
