Role Description We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor for a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai, with flexibility for some remote work. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling and editing video footage into compelling content, ensuring alignment with the creative vision of Kalakké Entertainments. Daily tasks include organizing and reviewing raw footage, applying sound effects and transitions, synchronizing audio and video, color correction, and maintaining project timelines. Collaboration with the production team to enhance the storytelling experience will also be a key aspect of the role. Qualifications Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects. Expertise in visual effects, sound editing, and color grading to enhance video quality. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Familiarity with storytelling, cinematic techniques, and narrative pacing. Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and production teams. Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality content. Knowledge of social media platforms and trends is an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
