VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Programmer is responsible for create and optimize CNC programs to manufacture precision parts, interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate tools,and setting up the VMC machines. Required Candidate profile Key duties include monitoring machine operation, machine schedule, performing quality control inspections, and troubleshooting issues to ensure efficient production.
Candidate must be able to handle the VMC machine (CNC Milling) Setting & operation independently, ready to work in rotation shift, good knowledge about Mechanical engineering drawing, G-codes, M-codes, Using instruments like Vernier, Micrometer etc.
Candidate should good knowledge about Mechanical engineering drawing, Understanding GD&T symbols. Knowledge about using instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, 2D Height Gauge(Trimos), All type of gauges. Maintaining the Calibration Records Prepare the Reports of First of Sample, In Process Inspection, Final Inspection and maintain the records Experience in the field of Manufacturing Aerospace / Defence components, Precision CNC/VMC machined components would be added advantage. Basic Microsoft Excel & Word knowledge
