Role Description Juniper & its Impact arm HET( Himalayan Environment Trust) - are working together on putting together a series of films for creating incident awareness in the mountains. This will be a comprehensive guide to incident management for trip leaders & guides who are involved in outdoor travel. the skills that are required here will be to create the script covering events of incident's & linking it to an outcome - our key learning. You will also be required to work as a liaison between the HET & Juniper teams, along with the the video editing team for implementation. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a keen interest in the wilderness & the outdoors and would like to contribute.

About the Book Mountains Do Move is a premium coffee-table book chronicling decades of Himalayan expeditions, leadership under extreme conditions, and timeless managerial insights drawn from life in the mountains. The book is positioned at the intersection of adventure, leadership, philosophy, and legacy, and is intended for discerning readers, corporate leaders, institutions, and collectors. We are looking for a dedicated individual to manage the brand presence, sales coordination, and launch ecosystem of the book. Role Overview The Book & Brand Manager will be responsible for building visibility, driving sales coordination, and executing book-related events, while acting as the central point of contact across platforms, partners, and stakeholders. This role requires a strong sense of storytelling, operational discipline, and comfort working with premium, content-driven projects. Key Responsibilities 1.⁠ ⁠Social Media & Digital Presence Manage and grow the author’s presence across Instagram and other relevant platforms Develop a content calendar aligned with the book’s themes (mountains, leadership, reflections, excerpts) Coordinate creation of posts, reels, captions, and stories (in collaboration with designers/editors if required) Ensure consistent tone, aesthetics, and narrative aligned with the book’s ethos Track engagement, audience growth, and performance metrics 2.⁠ ⁠Sales & Distribution Coordination Coordinate book sales across online platforms, direct orders, corporate gifting, and bulk purchases Act as a liaison between printers, distributors, logistics partners, and buyers Maintain sales records, inventory tracking, and order fulfilment coordination Support outreach to corporates, institutions, and curated retail outlets Assist with pricing strategy, packaging, and premium positioning 3.⁠ ⁠Events, Launches & Partnerships Plan and coordinate book launch events, talks, signings, and panel discussions Assist in outreach to venues, speakers, moderators, media, and partner organizations Manage event timelines, invitations, RSVPs, and on-ground coordination Support collaborations with corporate houses, leadership forums, schools, and cultural institutions Ensure smooth execution of events from planning to post-event follow-ups Ideal Candidate Profile Strong interest in books, storytelling, leadership, travel, or the Himalayas Experience in social media management, brand marketing, publishing, or events Highly organized with strong coordination and follow-through skills Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and legacy-driven projects Ability to balance creative storytelling with operational execution Preferred (but not mandatory) Experience with book launches, publishing, or cultural projects Familiarity with Instagram content strategy and analytics Prior experience in event management or community building Appreciation for premium brands, coffee-table books, or heritage-led narratives What This Role Offers  Opportunity to work on a legacy-driven Himalayan leadership project Direct involvement in shaping the public presence of a meaningful book Exposure to corporate leaders, institutions, and cultural platforms A role with creative autonomy and real-world impact
