Junior Packaging Designer

As a Packaging Designer, you will be responsible for creating packaging drawings and dielines using Corel Draw or AutoCAD. You will develop prototypes and produce 3D models of packaging designs, preferably utilizing AutoCAD or other 3D modeling software. Your role will involve liaising with clients to comprehend their design requirements and preferences, translating design concepts into technical drawings for die making and production. Additionally, you will coordinate with die makers and the production team to ensure that designs are manufacturable. It will be essential for you to maintain organized records of design files and project documentation while staying updated on trends, materials, and techniques in luxury packaging. Key Responsibilities: - Create packaging drawings and dielines using Corel Draw or AutoCAD. - Develop prototypes and create 3D models of packaging designs, preferably using AutoCAD or other 3D modeling software. - Liaise with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences. - Translate design concepts into technical drawings for die making and production. - Coordinate with die makers and the production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing. - Maintain organized records of design files and project documentation. - Stay informed about trends, materials, and techniques in luxury packaging. Qualifications Required: - 0-1 year of experience in packaging design or a related field. - Proficiency in Corel Draw and AutoCAD; experience with 3D modeling software is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and technical drawing skills. - Ability to understand and incorporate client feedback into designs. - Good communication and organizational skills.
