Junior Analyst - Accounts Receivable

Role & responsibilities

• Review email inbox for receipt batches to post to tenant ledgers.
• Review payments dashboard to make corrections to failed receipt/return items.
• Post HUD/TBV receipts.
• Read and understand tenant ledgers.
• Review monthly tenant charges and question discrepancies.
• Review monthly reports and question discrepancies.
• Post receipts for all deposits received from third parties/non tenant payments.
• Creates all Miscellaneous Charges that adhere to clients.
• Process all tenant ledger adjustments.
• Re-apply misapplied tenant payments.
• Post new security deposits and additional security deposit receipts to tenant ledgers.
• Post non-tenant receipts.
• Handle additional responsibilities as per the process requirement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Requires a bachelors degree of Accounting or Finance.
• Flexible to work in shifts 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 5:30 PM-2:30 AM/6:30 PM-3:30 AM.
• Relevant experience of 1 to 4 years.
• Understanding of general accounting.
• Adhere to tight deadlines and quick turnaround for accounting deliverables.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment where adaptability is imperative.
• Strong written and oral skills.
• Accurate with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word etc.).
• Yardi experience preferred but not required if ability to quickly learn a new software.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and associates.
