Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with prior experience in the construction industry. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, billing, and hands-on experience with Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally Prime.

2. Handle purchase entries, sales entries, payment entries and receipt entries.

3. Prepare and maintain invoices, bills and vouchers.

4. Manage vendor and client accounts, including outstanding payments and receivables.

5. Handle construction project expenses and maintain project-wise expense records.

6. Assist with GST entries, GST reconciliation and related documentation.

7. Maintain bank reconciliation statements (BRS).

8. Handle petty cash and daily cash transactions.

9. Maintain records of purchase orders, vendor bills and subcontractor payments.

10. Assist in monthly financial reports and account reconciliation.

11. Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.

Required Skills

* Mandatory hands-on experience in Tally Prime.

* Prior experience in construction or interior design companies.

* Good knowledge of GST and basic taxation.

* Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

* Understanding of purchase, sales, billing and vendor management.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Accuracy, attention to detail and time management.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who have previously worked in construction, architecture or interior design firms will be preferred.
