POSITION: JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

The Society of Daughters of Mary Immaculate and Collaborators (SDMIC) is inviting applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Junior Accountant at its office in Chennai.

Job Location: St. Thomas Mount, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Com or MBA degree holders.
• Freshers and candidates with 1+ years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, and other financial documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and account verification.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support other accounting and administrative activities as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary: As per the organization's standards and commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
