Job Title: Sports Coordinator Intern Reporting To: Academy Manager / Operations Head About Us : We are a leading football academy committed to grassroots development, player excellence, and promoting sports culture. We also host and manage a variety of sports events to engage youth and communities in active lifestyles. Role Overview : We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Sports Coordinator Intern to support the day-to-day operations of our football academy and assist in organizing sports events. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about sports management, eager to learn, and has excellent organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Act as a point of contact between coaches, players, and parents at the academy. Assist in scheduling training sessions, matches, and internal tournaments. Support in maintaining player attendance and performance records. Help coordinate logistics for academy operations – equipment, kits, travel, etc. Participate in planning and execution of sports events (tournaments, camps, festivals). Liaise with vendors, volunteers, and event partners for smooth operations. Handle on-ground coordination during events and ensure timely execution of tasks. Assist in content creation for social media and promotion of events (optional but preferred). Requirements Passion for sports, preferably football. Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Sports Management, Event Management, Physical Education, or related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with coordination tools (Google Workspace, etc.). Willingness to work on weekends or evenings when required. Prior experience in event volunteering or sports organizing is a plus.
