Role & responsibilities This is a full-time on-site role for a Signalling Technician, located in Bengaluru Division, South Western Railway. The Signalling Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of railway signaling systems, ensuring they function efficiently and comply with safety standards. The technician will work closely with the railways staff to identify, diagnose, and rectify faults, as well as perform regular inspections, testing, and updates to signal equipment. Adherence to safety protocols and maintaining detailed records of work performed are key aspects of this role. Preferred candidate profile Diploma/B.E (EE/EC) with 0 to 2 years experience. Understanding of signaling systems, circuit diagrams, and electrical/electronic components Skills in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of signaling equipment Knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory standards related to railway signaling systems Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills Communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments Relevant certification or diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, or railway signaling (preferable) Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
