Role Description We are seeking a Flood Modeler Intern for a hybrid role based in New Delhi, with partial work-from-home flexibility. As a Flood Modeler Intern, you will assist in the development and analysis of flood models, data collection, and assessment. You will analyze hydrological and hydraulic data, use modeling software, and contribute to the development of flood management strategies. Additionally, collaboration with internal teams and preparation of technical reports are core aspects of this role. Qualifications Proficiency in flood modeling, hydrology, and hydraulic modeling tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, MIKE Flood, or similar software Strong data analysis, research, and technical report writing skills Understanding of sustainable water resource management practices and environmental impacts Familiarity with GIS tools for data visualization and mapping Ability to collaborate within teams and operate effectively in a hybrid work environment Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field
