Job Details for Secondary Logistics: Logistics reports (i.e., WH Stock, Yard Stock, DM/WF, Damage/Shortage, Audit reports, Rake report and etc.) Physical clearance of damaged stock along with billing from the Godowns and billing of shortage in SAP (as per SOP) on monthly basis. Strong follow-up with all vendors (CFA & TPT) for required logistics data. Coordination with sales team for advance demand and coordination with plant team for dispatch as per demand on daily basis. Godown visits for physical stock verification with books. Ownership of all tasks in his region that are completed on time. Innovative ideas to reduce logistics costs, such as warehouse optimization, freight benchmarking, rescheduling of handling costs, reduction in rail wharfage, etc. Responsibilities for meeting all audit requirements.
