Role Overview: As the Clinical Leader of the Transplant Service Line at Jefferson Health, you will play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of transplant care delivery across the enterprise. Working closely with an executive-level administrative partner, you will drive transformational change and growth in transplant services at Jefferson Health, aiming to enhance quality of care, improve systems and processes, and optimize efficiency in delivering transplantation services to the communities of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a compelling vision and strategic business plan in collaboration with clinical leadership to advance and support the evolution of the transplant service line within the Jefferson enterprise. - Redesign the care delivery model with a focus on value-based care engagement, leading to increased patient satisfaction, higher quality care, and reduced costs. - Standardize care across the enterprise to improve patient outcomes by reducing clinical variations and enhancing clinical effectiveness. Establish metrics and performance goals to drive improvements in clinical outcomes. - Ensure compliance with quality measures and regulatory standards across all sites of care. Collaborate with Enterprise Leadership to meet national, regional, and local quality measures. - Optimize service delivery and patient mix while maintaining consistent quality of care across all locations. Harmonize care standards enterprise-wide. - Drive academic and scientific advancement by expanding education programs, fostering clinical innovation, and growing extramurally-funded clinical research opportunities. - Cultivate philanthropic relationships and explore new business opportunities such as joint ventures. Qualification Required: - At least 5 years of leadership experience in clinical operations, preferably within a large healthcare system. - Track record of progressively increasing administrative responsibilities, ideally culminating in a role as a surgical director in transplantation. - Strong background in teaching and supporting academic programs, including experience with academic-clinical partnerships and training programs. - Demonstrated commitment to championing excellence in clinical quality and patient satisfaction. - MD/DO or equivalent international degree, Board certified in Surgery, completed fellowship training at an ASTS-certified transplant surgery program, and eligible for a Pennsylvania Medical License. - Academic achievements meriting appointment at the rank of associate or full professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. - Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and health equity. - Experience in operational and financial management of a department, including budget management, strategic planning, and resource management.,
