Key Responsibilities: - Develop a compelling vision and strategic business plan in collaboration with clinical leadership to advance and support the evolution of the transplant service line within the Jefferson enterprise. - Redesign the care delivery model with a focus on value-based care engagement, leading to increased patient satisfaction, higher quality care, and reduced costs. - Standardize care across the enterprise to improve patient outcomes by reducing clinical variations and enhancing clinical effectiveness. Establish metrics and performance goals to drive improvements in clinical outcomes. - Ensure compliance with quality measures and regulatory standards across all sites of care. Collaborate with Enterprise Leadership to meet national, regional, and local quality measures. - Optimize service delivery and patient mix while maintaining consistent quality of care across all locations. Qualification Required: - At least 5 years of leadership experience in clinical operations, preferably within a large healthcare system. - Track record of progressively increasing administrative responsibilities, ideally culminating in a role as a surgical director in transplantation. - Strong background in teaching and supporting academic programs, including experience with academic-clinical partnerships and training programs. - Demonstrated commitment to championing excellence in clinical quality and patient satisfaction. - MD/DO or equivalent international degree, Board certified in Surgery, completed fellowship training at an ASTS-certified transplant surgery program, and eligible for a Pennsylvania Medical License. - Academic achievements meriting appointment at the rank of associate or full professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. - Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and health equity. - Experience in operational and financial management of a department, including budget management, strategic planning, and resource management.,
