Java Web Developer

As a Java Developer with over 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Your role will involve integrating POS systems such as APTOS/XStore with backend services, implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs for retail operations, and deploying applications on AWS or Azure cloud platforms. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered. Collaboration with QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams is essential to contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes. You will also provide support for production incidents and troubleshoot system issues as needed. The ideal candidate should possess a strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework, along with a solid understanding of Microservices architecture. Experience in deploying and supporting applications on AWS or Azure is required, as well as hands-on experience with Retail POS systems, specifically APTOS or XStore. Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, integration patterns, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools is also beneficial.
