Job Description

Role Overview: You will be working as a Java Springboot Microservices Developer at Capgemini. Your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying microservices using Java and relevant frameworks such as Spring Boot. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining RESTful APIs to ensure efficient communication between services. Additionally, you will identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal system performance. Conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and integration tests will be crucial to maintain code quality and reliability. As a mentor, you will provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Collaboration with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders is essential to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Active participation in Agile ceremonies like sprints, retrospectives, and stand-ups, as well as contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, will be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Java and relevant frameworks (Spring Boot, etc.) - Create and maintain RESTful APIs to ensure efficient communication between services - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks for optimal system performance - Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability - Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers - Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, stand-ups) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Required: - 4 to 12 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and microservices - Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies - Familiarity with API management and documentation tools (Swagger, Postman) - Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Effective communication and client-facing skills [Note: The additional details of Capgemini have been omitted as they were written in the third person.],
