Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically with Dataflow, to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Apache Beam on GCP Dataflow, integrating with various cloud-native services, and contributing to the modernization of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy batch and streaming data pipelines using

  Apache Beam

  and

  GCP Dataflow

  .
• Build robust backend services using

  Java 8+

  ,

  Spring Boot

  , and

  Microservices architecture

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize pipeline performance and ensure fault-tolerant data processing.
• Integrate with GCP services such as

  BigQuery

  ,

  Pub/Sub

  ,

  Cloud Storage

  , and

  Dataplex

  .
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like

  Jenkins

  ,

  GitHub

  , and

  Terraform

  .
• Ensure code quality through unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in

  Java

  , including multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
• Experience with

  Apache Beam

  and

  GCP Dataflow

  for data processing.
• Familiarity with

  GCP ecosystem

  : BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Dataplex.
• Solid understanding of

  Spring Boot

  , REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with

  SQL and NoSQL databases

  (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of

  CI/CD tools

  and

  cloud deployment

  strategies.
• Exposure to

  containerization

  (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP Professional Data Engineer Certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with

  streaming analytics

  and

  real-time data processing

  .
• Familiarity with

  data governance

  and

  metadata management

  tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
