Java Developer

Role Overview: You will be joining Applied Cloud Computing (ACC) as a Backend Software Engineer with 4-10 years of work experience. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to solving complex technical challenges to enhance engineering efficiency. You will also be involved in designing, building, and on-boarding tools to streamline build, testing, release, and deployment processes. Your motivation, communication skills, team-first attitude, and ability to drive technical decisions will be crucial in this role. You must excel in problem-solving, think creatively, and have a passion for researching the latest technologies and trends. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on contribution to projects accounts for 70% of your daily responsibilities, while the remaining 30% involves collaborating with the team. - Mentorship of team members and maintenance of engineering excellence. - Drive technical decisions and initiatives for the team. - Work effectively with multi-functional teams and tech leads, coordinating across organizational boundaries and geographies. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends to enhance engineering practices. - Design and develop microservices using preferred programming languages like Java, Groovy, Golang, or Python. - Implement CICD standard methodologies and utilize tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube. - Apply Agile Methodologies to project development. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 3-4 years of coding experience in a preferred programming language. - Proficiency in developing microservices. - Hands-on experience in object-oriented programming languages like Java, Groovy, Golang, or Python. - Familiarity with CICD tools and methodologies, including Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube. - Experience with Agile Methodologies.
