Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Java & API Integration Developer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in building robust backend applications and modern API architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in WSO2 API Management / Enterprise Integrator, paired with solid Java development fundamentals.
This role requires local presence in Thane for an in-person interview and ongoing on-site collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- API Design & Integration: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable RESTful and SOAP APIs using the WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Enterprise Integrator (EI) / Micro Integrator.
- Java Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java enterprise code (Spring Boot / Java EE) to support integration services and microservices.
- API Management: Manage API lifecycles, configure security policies (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys), rate limiting, throttling, and monetization features within WSO2.
- System Integration: Integrate core enterprise backend systems, third-party databases, cloud services, and legacy platforms seamlessly.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, debug integration flows, and optimize API performance and latency.
- Documentation & Compliance: Create comprehensive documentation for API specs (OpenAPI/Swagger), architecture diagrams, and deployment workflows.
Required Qualifications & SkillsMandatory Skills:
- WSO2 Expertise: Hands-on development experience with WSO2 API Manager and/or WSO2 Enterprise Integrator / Ballerina / Micro Integrator.
- Java Core & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful web services.
- API Standards: Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Security Standards: Experience implementing security protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, and SAML.
Secondary / Desirable Skills:
- Database Management: Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
- Build & DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Messaging Systems: Basic experience with message brokers like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility
- Experience: Exactly 2 to 3 years of relevant software development and integration experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Location & Availability: Must be based in or near Thane (or willing to commute regularly) and available for an In-Person Interview at our Thane office.
Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
