Role Description This is a part-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Diabetes Educator. The Diabetes Educator will play a versatile role, responsible for educating patients about diabetes management, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications. They will address patient concerns, provide counseling on treatment adherence, and ensure patients understand the importance of their prescribed regimens. The role also requires collaborating with healthcare professionals to tailor care plans and staying updated on advancements in diabetes care and treatment approaches. Skills Strong knowledge of diabetes management, patient counseling, and health education Good communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and address their concerns effectively Ability to adapt to various patient needs and develop personalized education plans Willingness to learn and understand multiple aspects of diabetes care, including emerging treatment options Experience in working within healthcare environments and collaborating with medical teams Relevant certifications or educational background in healthcare, nursing, nutrition, or related fields Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and patient record management Ability to communicate in Gujarati, Hindi and English
