Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Head of Centre to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our preschool. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in early childhood education, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to creating a positive and enriching experience for children, parents, and staff. Given the potential challenges in finding local expertise in Tirupati, we are open to considering candidates willing to relocate and offer comprehensive support, including accommodation, to facilitate a successful transition. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to all staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Oversee all aspects of the school's operations, including curriculum implementation, staff supervision, parent communication, and facility management. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and school policies. Develop and implement strategies to achieve the school's strategic goals and objectives. Manage the school's budget and ensure financial sustainability. Curriculum & Instruction: Oversee the implementation of the school's curriculum, ensuring that it is aligned with best practices in early childhood education. Provide guidance and support to teachers in developing and implementing engaging and effective lesson plans. Monitor student progress and implement strategies to address individual learning needs. Staff Development & Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise all teaching and support staff. Provide ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Parent & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular communication and updates on their child's progress. Organize parent-teacher conferences, workshops, and other events to foster parent involvement. Represent the school in the local community and build relationships with community partners. Admissions & Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to attract and enroll new students. Conduct school tours and provide information to prospective parents. Manage the admissions process and ensure a smooth transition for new families. Qualifications: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of success in managing and leading a preschool or childcare center. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for creating a positive and enriching experience for children.
