Vice President and Head of Delivery
The Vice President and Head of Delivery position entails overseeing the delivery of services, programs, projects, and COE initiatives across various industry verticals. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide operational support and sales assistance in SAP S4HANA, SFDC, and RPA pre-sales activities. Your role will involve providing leadership to Delivery Managers, Program Managers, and Project Managers to ensure the smooth running of delivery and operations. You will be responsible for meeting both customer and internal needs by collaborating closely with the senior leadership team and achieving operational targets. Additionally, you will be tasked with laying the groundwork for development, conceptualizing service offerings, and ensuring the delivery of contracted work to customers. As the Vice President and Head of Delivery, you will take ownership of key performance parameters and implement frameworks for performance optimization, scalability, security, and reusability to deliver excellence and ensure customer satisfaction. You will introduce best practices in IT project implementation and be well-versed in AGILE, ASAP, and ACTIVATE methodologies. Your responsibilities will also include establishing operating procedures, work assignments, planning, and project management activities across various technologies while working closely with the CEO and Sales heads to achieve top-line and bottom-line targets. The ideal candidate for this role should have over 20 years of industry experience, with at least 15 years dedicated to delivery management. You are expected to possess hands-on experience as an onsite account manager, Senior Delivery Manager, Technology Practice Head, or Delivery Head for both horizontal and industry verticals. Experience in managing multiple customers across different geographies, executing fixed-price projects with SLAs, offshore delivery management, quality management processes, pre-sales exposure in SAP/ERP domains, and a strong network within the industry are essential. Additionally, you should demonstrate proven people leadership skills, a deep understanding of cost-cutting methods, and excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Qualifications for this role include a postgraduate degree in Business Management from a reputable institution.
