IT Specialist

Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, operating systems, applications, printers, and other IT equipment. ● Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation, account access requests, and IT asset assignment. ● Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, IP addressing, and other network-related issues. Outposter Outposter South Asia Pvt Ltd - Tower-B Unitech Cyber Park, Sector 39, Gurugram, Haryana, 122003, India legal@outposter.com.au ● Assist with monitoring and basic maintenance of Cisco switches, Fortinet firewalls, and other network equipment. ● Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, network cabling, and related infrastructure. ● Resolve IT service requests and incidents within agreed timelines and escalate issues when required. ● Coordinate with internet service providers, equipment vendors, and building management regarding IT-related concerns. ● Maintain IT asset inventories, equipment records, network documentation, and support reports. ● Assist with software updates, endpoint security, cybersecurity procedures, and compliance with company IT policies. ● Support IT projects and other IT-related tasks as assigned. Required Skills & Experience ● Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. ● Approximately 1–3 years of experience in IT support or IT operations, including hands-on exposure to network devices. ● Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and networking fundamentals. ● Understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, network cabling, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. ● Good troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. ● Ability to work independently onsite and coordinate effectively with a remote IT team. Preferred Qualifications ● Familiarity with network switches and firewalls, particularly Cisco and Fortinet equipment. ● Basic knowledge of ITIL and cybersecurity practices. Information Security & Compliance The candidate must follow company IT policies, information security procedures, and applicable ISO 27001 controls to maintain the confidentiality and security of company and client information.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹41,000.00 per month
