Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, ensuring it meets performance, security, and scalability requirements. Set up and configure a variety of network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS. Carry out system upgrades, network maintenance, and service pack, patch, and hot fix settings. Implement and monitor network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect against cyber threats. Keep track of performance and guarantee availability and dependability of the system Monitor system resource utilization, trending, capacity planning and diagnosing performance issues. Identify and resolve network issues, including outages, slow performance, and connectivity problems, in a timely manner. Provide Level-3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues. Work within established configuration and change management. Policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain network integrity and security. Monitor network traffic and usage patterns to plan for future network expansion and upgrades. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and changes. Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team. Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Designing, writing, and updating both system documentation and network diagrams. Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) Any Graduation in Computer Science / IT / Electronics & Communication with minimum 3-5 years of IT experience in pharma industry. Certification in MCSE / ITIL is preferable. 8 to 12 Yrs Requirements and skills University degree in Computer Science or a related subject At least 8 to 10 Experience in Network Security concepts like LDAP, NAT, POLICIES, IPSEC, SSL VPN, PROXY, UTM features, LOAD BALANCING, DYNAMIC DNS, POLICY BASED ROUTING, ENCRYPTION TECHNIQUES, REVERSE PROXY, SSL, and FORWARD PROXY Should be able to manage the team and provide technical guidance and training to the team. Should have fair knowledge on DNS, DHCP and ACTIVE DIRECTORY Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) Thorough knowledge of the TCP/IP or OSI models Working with CISCO ASA, CISCO FTD, PALO ALTO and FORTIGATE firewalls at Expert level is Must. Hands on experience on umbrella or any proxy solution is preferred. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like PRTG or SOLARWINDS will be preferred. Must have hands on Experience with packet flow, Wireshark tools. Preferred certification CCNA, CCDP Sharp troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently.
