Facility Engineering Technician (FE Tech) - ONLY IMMEDIATE JOINERS NEEDS TO APPLY Location: Airoli, Mumbai Department: Engineering & Operations Reports To: Facility Manager / Technical Lead Purpose of the Role The Facility Engineering Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient, reliable, and safe operation of all technical and building engineering systems at the client site. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations and compliance with ISS engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repair for all building equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical panels, pumps, lighting, DG sets, and UPS systems. Conduct daily inspections of critical equipment and log readings in the Technical Data Monitoring (TDM) or CMMS system . Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for repeated faults and propose corrective actions. Support in monitoring energy consumption and implementing energy-saving initiatives. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards , including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. Coordinate with OEM vendors for annual maintenance contracts (AMC) and statutory inspections. Maintain asset inventory, calibration records, and spare part management . Respond promptly to helpdesk calls and maintain SLA compliance. Participate in engineering audits , client inspections, and report closure actions. Provide technical assistance during BCP or emergency situations . Required Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics. Basic understanding of automation and BMS systems. Familiar with CMMS tools (e.g., Maximo, FSI, or similar). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and teamwork . Education & Experience Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering. 2–5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in corporate or industrial environments. Exposure to critical sites (Data Centers, Pharma, or R&D) is an added advantage. Behavioral Attributes Proactive, disciplined, and detail-oriented. Customer-centric approach with accountability for service delivery. Adaptable and willing to work in shifts or weekends as per site operations.

Key Responsibilities Oversee MEP and civil maintenance operations ensuring smooth and safe facility functioning. Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs and promote energy conservation practices. Maintain logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all installations. Manage breakdowns, downtime, and ensure timely restoration of services. Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory management of spares and consumables. Monitor and ensure contractor compliance, quality of service, and adherence to site rules. Prepare and share daily reports, maintenance logs, and incident summaries with the Facility Manager. Handle shift operations independently and assist in soft services as required. Requirements Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 3–6 years of experience in technical facility management (M&E). Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and preventive maintenance. Good communication, vendor management, and reporting skills.
