Role & responsibilities 1. Able to identify raw materials and co-relate traceability with mill certificates. 2. Able to witness laboratory tests (Mechanical, Chemical, Hardness etc.) 3. Able to inspect Groove Welding as well as Fillet Welding thoroughly. Conversant with all welding gauges & instruments. 4. Able to check individual structures (segment of shell, columns, beams , bracings, girders) 5. Able to Check Leveling, Control Assembly Dimension of Structures , Shells etc. 6. Inspector should have minimum NDT Level-II and able to witness VT, PT, MT, UT & RT respectively. 7. Able to check welding procedure & qualification records. Preferred candidate profile 1. Should be able to make photo report of daily / weekly progress and well conversant in MS Office (especially MS Excel Word). 2. Should be conversant with monitoring progress through progress line on schedule bar chart. 3. Should be young and energetic (Age - between 30 to 45 Years preferably). 4. Daily & Weekly Consolidated Reporting 5. Daily Report / Flash report to be submitted at the end of the day / latest within next days morning. weekly report to be submitted by end of each week. 6. All the reports / information to be shared with PIC without fail. 7. All the discussions / deviations / planning between Inspector / Expeditor and Vendor should be shared with PIC for concurrence. 8.
