As an IP Lead at Infosys, located in Bangalore, India, with 5-10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in turning innovation into impact. We are seeking an IP Lead who is not only passionate about patents but also excels at the intersection of technology, law, and business strategy. If you are someone who can effortlessly decode AI algorithms one moment and interpret a USPTO office action the next, then this is the platform for you. Your responsibilities will include unearthing cutting-edge ideas from innovative minds within Infosys, conducting high-impact invention mining sessions, and translating technical jargon into patents. You will be required to develop a network within the inventor community, drive patent protection strategies in collaboration with tech teams, conduct prior art searches, assess novelty, and refine disclosures. Additionally, drafting or reviewing solid patent applications for global filings and leading patent prosecution strategies for US, EP, and Indian patents will be part of your role. Building and enhancing a patent portfolio that aligns with Infosys" AI-first, cloud-native vision will also be a key focus area. As an ideal candidate, you should be well-versed in US and European patent laws, with experience as a registered patent agent being a significant advantage. A strong understanding of AI, machine learning, automation, and software systems is essential as you navigate through the realm of invention.
