IP Billing Executive

A hospital or diagnostic centre in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, is seeking an IP Billing Executive with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience. Previous experience in inpatient (IP) billing is preferred. Candidates must have experience working in a hospital or diagnostic centre. The selected candidate will support inpatient billing operations, verify billing details, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic centre is mandatory.
• Previous experience in inpatient (IP) billing is preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital billing procedures, patient admission, and discharge billing processes.
• Basic understanding of billing software or hospital information management systems (HIMS).
• Good computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process inpatient bills accurately based on hospital records and applicable billing procedures.
• Verify patient details, billing information, service entries, and charges before bill preparation.
• Coordinate with admission, medical records, pharmacy, nursing, and other departments to obtain billing information.
• Review bills for missing entries, discrepancies, or incorrect charges and report them for clarification.
• Assist with interim billing, final billing, and discharge-related billing processes.
• Support coordination with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients where applicable.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Follow up on pending billing cases and support timely patient discharge.
• Handle billing-related queries professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team.
• Follow hospital billing policies, confidentiality requirements, and documentation standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
