You are an Investment Specialist responsible for spearheading fundraising efforts for seed and early-stage projects in India and Qatar. You will develop and execute fundraising strategies, identify and engage with potential investors, and structure funding agreements to align with business objectives and investor expectations. Your role involves cultivating relationships with investors, partners, and financial institutions, conducting investor presentations and financial modeling, and leading negotiations on terms and equity structures for investments and joint ventures. Additionally, you will identify strategic partners and investment opportunities to enhance growth and scalability, facilitate joint venture agreements and collaborations, and ensure compliance and due diligence with legal and financial teams. Market research to assess investment trends, risks, and opportunities, due diligence on potential investors, partners, and projects, and monitoring regulatory changes affecting venture funding are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Investment Banking, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or fundraising for startups. Your skills and expertise should include a proven track record in raising funds for early-stage projects, a strong network of investors and strategic partners, proficiency in financial modeling and investment structuring, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex investment agreements. Preferred qualifications include a CFA, CAIA, or equivalent investment certification, as well as experience in managing large-scale investment deals or working with startup accelerators/incubators.
