Role & responsibilities What does a great TradeFlow User Interface Developer do? The TradeFlow Core Developer partners with the product manager, business analysts, professional services, helpdesk, quality assurance and development colleagues to ensure the development team stay on track with roadmap deliverables and commitments. This role will collaborate with development and quality assurance colleagues to ensure a quality delivery of enhancements and maintenance releases for the TradeFlow applications. The individual will be a problem solver with a keen eye for detail, an understanding of agile development processes and experience in a selection of coding languages. They will have proven experience as a software developer, software engineer or similar role and be open to learning new languages and technologies. This role will be accountable for the development of the TradeFlow User Interface applications, including both feature and maintenance releases. They will also proactively identify improvements to the development processes to reduce defects and improve delivery. The individual must be able to articulate and convey complex concepts to stakeholders within the organization with simplicity and concise language. An understanding of the post-trade process or similar financial experience would be advantageous. Preferred candidate profile Basic Qualifications for Consideration: Educated to a Degree level from an accredited university with minimum 8 years equivalent work experience Essential Skills, Experience, and Education: Java (Servlets, OO) JavaScript HTML CSS Understanding of relational databases
