Inventory Management and Logistics

Inventory management:

• Manage the overall stocks, key in and maintain the inventory in the Auto-Count system.
• Own forecasts at vendors, category and SKU level: weekly forecast, 3-month rolling forecast, 3-month rolling sales projections, 12-month plan.
• From the forecasts derive purchase plans, open-to-buy and inventory budgets.
• Conduct a monthly demand review internally with Sales, Operations and Management.
• Manage stock optimization: set safety stock, reorder levels, min/max levels.
• Monitor turns, ageing, slow and non-moving, excess and obsolete stock.
• Align demand plans with vendors production, logistics lead and cost, and warehouse capacity.
• Alert management early on constraints and propose mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Operations and Warehouse departments to place Delivery Orders.
• Identify and negotiate cost reduction across procurement, freight and warehousing.
• Monitor domestic and international vendors performance, track on-time delivery, lead-time adherence, and negotiate terms (lead times, MOQs, order frequency, capacity).

Logistics:

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, courier partners, transport vendors and internal departments and track inbound and outbound shipments.
• Maintain logistic cost records.
• Monitor shipment timelines accurately and provide status updates to Sales, Operations and Warehouse.
• Coordinate and file import and export documents for customs clearance and deliveries, invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and related logistics documents.
• Maintain import, export and shipping document records.

Preferred profile:

• Education: Post Graduate – MBA (Supply Chain preferred); analytical or engineering undergraduate degree preferred.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Required:
• Advanced Excel — pivot tables, Power Query, what-if analysis, Solver, forecasting models.
• Inventory management tools and ERP systems.
• Strong grasp of forecasting.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good to have: SQL or Python; advanced planning tools.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
