International Logistics and Export Executive

What You’ll Do

• Set up and run our end-to-end export process from scratch
• Prepare and manage all export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, shipping bill, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and others as the destination country needs
• Work with freight forwarders and CHAs, get quotes, compare them, and pick the right one
• Plan and book shipments, containers (FCL and LCL), and vessels
• Track every shipment and keep customers updated until delivery
• Handle customs clearance and sort out issues at the port
• Research import rules, duties, and certification needs for each destination country
• Make sure our invoicing, LUT, and GST refund process stays compliant
• Coordinate with our production and dispatch team on packing, crating, and timelines
• Follow up on export payments and collect the right bank documents
• Keep clean records of every shipment, cost, and document

What You Should Know

• Export documentation and the full shipment cycle
• IEC, ITC-HS codes, and DGFT basics
• Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW and more)
• Letter of Credit, advance payment, and other international payment terms
• LUT, zero-rated GST exports, and refunds
• FEMA basics, e-BRC, and RoDTEP or duty drawback
• Containers, vessel schedules, and shipping lines
• Marine cargo insurance
• Customs rules for electronics and machinery
• Freight costing and landed cost calculation

Requirements

• 1 to 4 years of experience in exports, freight forwarding, or shipping documentation
• Strong English and Hindi (must), spoken and written
• Telugu and Tamil (good to have, very useful)
• Comfortable with Excel, email, and online customs and DGFT portals
• Sharp attention to detail, because one wrong document can hold up a full container
• Good negotiation and follow-up skills
• Self-starter who can figure things out without hand-holding

Good to Have

• Experience exporting electronics, machinery, or capital goods
• Contacts at forwarders, CHAs, or shipping lines
• Knowledge of the Middle East, South Asia, or African markets
• Degree or diploma in International Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain

Compensation

• Training period: ₹20,000 per month
• After training: ₹3.5 to ₹5 LPA based on performance and skills
