Production Executive - Nutraceutical Products
The Production Executive/Manager for Nutraceutical Products will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of vitamin premixes (liquids, powders, beverages) in a Nutraceutical/Pharma Consumer Products company. With a minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in this field, you will be expected to have the knowledge and skills in various areas such as raw material and packing material purchase, quality control, workforce management, plant setup, formulation development, regulatory compliance, and more. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing raw material and packing material purchase, including testing and inventory management - Ensuring manufacturing of high-quality products compliant with FSSAI, Drug & Cosmetics, and BIS standards - Recruiting, training, and managing the workforce - Setting up and operating plant/equipment, including maintenance - Conducting root-cause-analysis and making necessary rectifications in formulations and processes - Developing product formulations, calculating BOM, creating SOPs, and MSDS - Adhering to various standards such as FSSC 22000, ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc. - Ensuring regulatory compliance with FSSAI, Drug & Cosmetics, Factory Act, Pollution Control Act, etc. - Maintaining regulatory records and documentation - Staying updated with the latest technologies and proficient in using computers and Tally-9 ERP - Handling certifications and audits of various standards Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience in manufacturing vitamin premixes, setting up new plants, regulatory compliance, and are fluent in English and Excel. The salary will be as per industry standards and higher for deserving candidates. The ideal candidate should have a background in B-Pharma/M-Pharma/Food Technology, preferably with an MBA, and not exceeding 50 years of age.
