Job Title: Service Manager – Automotive Industry Location: Mohali ( Head Office ) Department: Service & Maintenance Reports To: General Manager / Business Head Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager with 7–8 years of proven experience in the automobile industry to oversee our vehicle service operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining operational efficiency, and leading a team of technicians and service advisors. Key Responsibilities: Manage Service Operations: Oversee daily service department operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, timely vehicle servicing, and compliance with quality standards. Monitor and improve service processes for enhanced productivity and customer experience. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff. Conduct training and performance evaluations to maintain a high level of technical and customer service skills. Maintain documentation and records as per statutory and audit requirements. Requirements: Experience: 7–8 years in the automotive industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Education: Diploma/B.Tech/Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing service teams. Customer Orientation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service. Software Proficiency: Familiar with DMS (Dealer Management System) software and service CRM tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with premium or multi-brand dealerships.
