Name of Position: Traffic Manager No. of Positions Vacant: 1 Qualification: Graduate preferred (relevant experience will be considered) Relevant Industry: Transport / Logistics Industry Job Description / Responsibilities: Intario Logistics is looking for an experienced Traffic Manager based in Kolkata with strong exposure to trailer and ODC movement across India. Manage end-to-end placement of 40FT Trailers and ODC consignments from Kolkata to Pan-India locations . Develop and maintain a strong network of vehicle suppliers, fleet owners, and transporters . Ensure timely availability of vehicles at competitive and cost-effective rates. Negotiate freight rates and contracts to achieve cost optimization . Coordinate with operations, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth movement of consignments. Handle high-value and over-dimensional cargo movements with compliance to safety and regulatory norms. Monitor daily vehicle movement, resolve transit issues, and ensure on-time delivery. Maintain market intelligence on freight trends, availability, and pricing. Desired Profile of the Candidate: Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Traffic Officer / Traffic Manager in the transport industry. Strong market hold and proven connections with trailer and ODC vehicle suppliers . Hands-on experience in Pan-India logistics operations . Excellent negotiation, coordination, and vendor management skills. Candidate must be based in Kolkata and well-versed with the local transport market.
