IT Infrastructure Support Specialist Job description In Depth Knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF In depth experience of Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama Cisco Wireless controller and Access Points Advanced knowledge of networking equipment s including switches, routers, firewalls, LAN, WAN, IP Security, NAT, ACLs, STP, BGP. HSRP, OSFP, PPP, MPLS, VPN, SNMP, TCP/IP, IPsec, AAA, TFTP, TACACS , RADIUS, STP, VLAN, 802.1Q TRUNK, EtherChannel Strong knowledge & experience over Azure (esp. Azure networking) is mandatory. Strong knowledge over SolarWinds with configuration & monitoring Good knowledge over SDN Knowledge of VOIP & telephony is an advantage Strong communication & presentation skills About the role Deploy and support multi-vendor network & security solutions Support VPN, network firewall, routers, switches, wireless controllers and other network appliances and services Managing and upgrade of existing hardware and software Diagnosing complex network issues and working with other team members to diagnose issues with integrated systems Participate in multiple network projects simultaneously while maintaining daily operational excellence Support and maintain the highest network security level throughout the environment Monitoring, Following defined procedures to monitor systems and resolve problems. Defining improvements increasing system reliability and performance. Acts as the technical liaison between different IT teams and solution architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability Managing and maintaining the projects / products implemented by Solution architect team. Participating in project deployment following project management guidelines Coordinates problem resolution among a variety of functional areas and provides subject matter expertise support for diagnosing and resolving problems Assists in developing documentation for new infrastructure solutions Maintain a proper channel of communication with different vendorsImp: Should be ready to work in EMEA time zone (1 PM to 10 PM IST) About you
