We are looking for a passionate and talented SEO Content Writer to create engaging and informative content that fuels our website's growth. You will be responsible for writing a variety of content. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and maintain a high level of content quality. Research and write SEO-driven articles, guides, and landing pages around sports events, teams, and topics. Optimize content using target keywords , meta tags, internal linking, and SEO best practices. Create news articles, previews, match analyses, and opinion pieces aligned with trending search queries. Collaborate with the SEO team to identify content gaps, search trends, and ranking opportunities. Write compelling and engaging content that adheres to SEO best practices and targets relevant keywords. Optimize content for search engines by incorporating keywords naturally and strategically. Meet deadlines consistently and efficiently. Collaborate effectively with editors and other team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest sports news and trends. Qualifications: Proven experience as a sportswriter or content creator (Mandatory) Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices. Excellent writing skills with a clear, concise, and engaging style. In-depth knowledge of cricket, football, tennis, esports, or other relevant sports. Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize information effectively. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus. Bonus points: Experience writing for a sports website or publication. Knowledge of social media trends and ability to create engaging social media content. Experience with content analytics tools.
