Job Description – Finance Assistant Position: Finance Assistant Experience Required: 2–4 years Department: Finance & Accounts Reporting To: Finance Manager / Senior Accountant Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant with 2–4 years of experience to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial records, assist in budget preparation, and support audits while adhering to company policies and statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries. Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support in bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and expense tracking. Handle employee reimbursements, travel claims, and petty cash management. Prepare GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory compliance documentation. Support payroll processing and coordinate with HR for employee-related finance queries. Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting. Maintain accurate records for internal and external audits. Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams on financial matters. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/CA Inter preferred). 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / SAP / QuickBooks (as per company tools). Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Good Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, MIS reporting). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and problem-solving ability. Preferred Skills Experience in handling payroll support. Knowledge of corporate finance policies and internal controls. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
