In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. Your Role and Responsibilities Plan and participate in the implementation, administration, maintenance, and evolution of the technological environment and ensure proper documentation and functional analysis. Ensure stability, security, and performance of the technological environment to align with availability and service level agreements. Improve processes and automate procedures to simplify and reduce human errors for all team members. Maintain and improve system backup technology, security, and reliability. Validate, recommend, and participate in periodic software and hardware patches. Ensure all necessary information for implementing, administering, and operating data centers and cloud environments, while promoting knowledge transfer, training, and sharing. Participate in security tightening initiatives with assistance from the internal security team. May be required to participate in scheduled outside hours rotations as a primary or secondary resource to prevent client payment penalties. Required Education Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education Master's Degree Required Technical and Professional Expertise University degree in computer science or equivalent experience A minimum of 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar position Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency Multi-tasking and time management skills Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Knowledge and understanding of Ansible Knowledge of Active Directory and/or FreeIPA or related services Knowledge or interest in Cloud/Hybrid Architecture (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Terraform)
