Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Informatica PowerCenter Application Support Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting ETL applications built on Informatica PowerCenter. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in production support, incident management, job monitoring, issue resolution, and data analysis.Roles Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for Informatica PowerCenter ETL applications.Monitor daily batch loads and ensure successful completion of ETL workflows.Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to ETL processes and data loads.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.Handle incident, problem, and change management activities as per SLA.Monitor workflows, sessions, and mappings in Informatica PowerCenter.Work closely with development, database, and business teams for issue resolution.Validate data integrity and perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.Support deployment activities across Development, QA, and Production environments.Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and support runbooks.Participate in on-call support and release activities as required.Technical Requirement
Experience with Informatica workflow scheduling tools.Exposure to Control-M, Autosys, or other enterprise schedulers.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.Familiarity with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).Understanding of DevOps and release management processes.Educational Requirement
