We're Hiring! | Mechanical Draughtsman/Jr. Engineer Location: Vapi, Gujarat Industry: Boiler & Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Experience: 2–5 years of experience in boiler or heavy fabrication industry Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship Key Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of mechanical components, welding symbols, tolerances, and fabrication processes Familiarity with boiler codes (IBR, ASME) Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings of boilers and pressure parts using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Create assembly and fabrication drawings for boiler components like drums, headers, water walls, superheaters, economizers, and other auxiliary systems Understand engineering sketches, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and specifications provided by design engineers Convert conceptual designs into manufacturing-ready drawings Generate and maintain accurate BOMs for all boiler components Ensure that all materials listed comply with project specifications and standards. We are looking for Quality Engineer role for our factory situtaed in Vapi Gujarat. The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all boilers, pressure vessels, components, and sub-assemblies meet required quality standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications. This role involves developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, analyzing data, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME, CE, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and IBR. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for boiler manufacturing processes. Perform in-process and final inspections of boilers, pressure parts, weld joints, pipework, valves, and boiler components. Verify compliance with ASME Codes, IBR, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and company-specific quality standards. Review and approve WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), PQR (Procedure Qualification Records), and welder qualification tests. Conduct NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) processes such as Radiography, UT, MPI, DPI, and interpret results. Inspect incoming raw materials including plates, tubes, castings, forgings, and purchased components etc. Prepare and maintain quality documentation including material test certificates (MTC), inspection reports, quality dossiers, and compliance records. Coordinate with suppliers for quality approvals, audits, and corrective actions. Review hydrolic test procedures and witness hydro tests, leakage tests, and performance tests. Education Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Welding Technology, or related field. Experience 35 years of experience in QA/QC within boiler manufacturing, heavy fabrication, or pressure vessel industry.
