HIRING: INDIRECT TAX MANAGER | GRROWWIDE | MUMBAI

Grrowwide is looking for an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to lead our team in Mumbai. This role offers the opportunity to oversee GST compliance, deliver high-level advisory, manage complex litigation, and mentor a dedicated team of tax professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advisory: Lead research on complex GST positions, design optimized supply chain structures, and review and finalize advisory opinions and technical impact notes for clients.
• Litigation: Formulate strategies for complex tax disputes. Review and finalize replies to Show Cause Notices (SCNs), audit queries, submissions, and grounds of appeal. Represent clients before tax authorities.
• Compliance: Manage and ensure the timely, accurate execution of monthly/annual filings (GSTR-1, 3B, 9/9C) and oversee detailed ITC reconciliations across the client portfolio.
• Client Handling & Team Leadership: Act as the primary escalation point for client finance leadership. Mentor and guide junior executives, and liaise strategically with senior tax authorities during audits and departmental proceedings.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified CA / LLB.
• 4 to 7 years of robust indirect tax experience with deep practical knowledge of GST law, scrutiny handling, and departmental representation.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities, exceptional legal drafting, strong analytical research, and advanced MS Excel skills.
