Semiconductor ATMP FacilityPosition: Building ManagerDepartment: Facilities ManagementLocation: BangaloreReports To: Facilities Head / Operations DirectorJob Summary:The Building Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the Semiconductor ATMP (Assembly, Testing, Marking, and Packaging) facility. This role requires expertise in managing critical infrastructure, cleanroom environments, utility systems, and compliance with safety regulations. The Building Manager will coordinate with various teams to ensure uninterrupted operations and optimal working conditions.Key Responsibilities:1. Facility Management & Operations:• Ensure the smooth operation of the building, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.• Oversee the maintenance and servicing of utilities such as compressed air, vacuum systems, deionized water, and gas supply critical for semiconductor manufacturing.• Manage cleanroom infrastructure, ensuring compliance with temperature, humidity, and contamination control standards.• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.2. Safety & Compliance:• Ensure strict adherence to local building codes, fire safety regulations, and semiconductor industry standards.• Implement and monitor EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) protocols, including hazardous material handling.• Conduct risk assessments and safety drills for emergency preparedness.• Ensure proper waste management, including handling of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental laws.3. Vendor & Contractor Management:• Oversee third-party vendors and contractors for building maintenance, repairs, and facility upgrades.• Negotiate service contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.• Supervise construction, renovation, and expansion projects within the facility.4. Energy & Cost Management:• Optimize energy consumption by implementing efficient power and HVAC management strategies.• Monitor facility budgets, control operational costs, and ensure cost-effective maintenance solutions.• Implement sustainability initiatives such as energy-efficient lighting, water recycling, and waste reduction programs.5. Security & Access Control:• Manage building security systems, including access controls, surveillance, and visitor management.• Work closely with the security team to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of employees and assets.• Implement emergency response plans for fire, electrical failures, or natural disasters.6. Documentation & Reporting:• Maintain updated records of facility assets, maintenance logs, and regulatory compliance documents.• Prepare reports on facility performance, maintenance schedules, and cost analysis.• Coordinate with management for capital investment planning and infrastructure upgrades.Qualifications & Requirements:Education & Certification:• Bachelors degree / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Facility Management.• Certifications in Facility Management (e.g., IFMA, BOMA, LE)
