We have a Senior Research Fellow project position at IIT Goa in the school of electrical sciences. The position will be converted to PhD (through project) after following the due academic procedure at IIT Goa. The funding if converted to PhD will be for 3 years from project funding and additonal two years from institute funding (total 5 years). Stipend monthly: Rs.42000/- + HRA = Rs. 50,400/-. The topic involves modelling and design of magnetics of a linear permanent magnet generator. Candidate is expected to have an MTech in electrical engineering or BTech in electrical engineering with a valid GATE score and 2 years of experience after BTech. Candidates with experience in finite element design of electrical machines i.e., softwares such as Ansys Maxwell, MotorCAD, MagNet, etc will be preferred.
