I am looking for a qualified Ph.D. candidate , who is interested in pursuing research with my guidance. My expertise largely falls in the areas of robotics, control systems applications, engineering solutions for healthcare, etc. I am currently working on robotic solutions to rehabilitation, surgeries, etc., but you are of course free to choose your own problem statement. As I am part of an invaluable school at IIITDM Kancheepuram, i.e. School of Interdisciplinary Design and Innovation (SIDI), and belonging to a multidisciplinary research background, I welcome students from electrical / electronics / mechanical / instrumentation / control / biomedical engineering backgrounds. In line with the upcoming trends, I am open to accepting students who have obtained their Master's degree, or even Direct Ph.D. candidates who have only obtained a Bachelor's degree. What I primarily look for is an interest to pursue research, and maintain the grit and discipline for 4-5 years of the program. Rest assured, I shall provide my best of support.
