Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Howrah for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF). The JRF will conduct in-depth experimental and theoretical research under the guidance of faculty and assist in projects funded by academic or industrial sponsors. Responsibilities will include planning and executing experiments, preparing reports and research papers, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The candidate will also contribute toward data analysis, literature reviews, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Qualifications • M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, or allied discipline with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university/institute. • OR M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/ Mathematics with NET/GATE qualification or any ANRF-recognized national eligibility test for research fellowship. • Age limit: 28 years (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD as per Govt. of India and ANRF rules)..
