Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure Deployment & Support Deploy private cloud infrastructure for new and existing customers. Maintain internal and external private cloud environments. Perform regular maintenance, patching, and issue resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets. Identify and resolve potential infrastructure issues proactively. Automation & Process Improvement Script repetitive tasks and leverage automation tools. Identify and deliver technical projects and improvements. Develop and document operational processes. Collaboration & Customer Engagement Provide Level 2 support and assist Level 1 engineers. Train junior engineers and support their development. Communicate effectively with customers and maintain strong relationships. Participate in weekly on-call rotation for after-hours coverage. Take initiative to remediate issues with minimal direction. Manage multiple projects and drive them to completion within timelines. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 5+ years’ experience in cloud engineering roles across VMware, AWS, and Azure. Proven track record of delivering end-to-end cloud solutions in public and private environments. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams. Competencies Intermediate knowledge and hands-on experience in: VMware Cloud Services (vSphere, vCloud Director, NSX, vSAN) AWS Cloud Services (Architecture, Build & Support) Microsoft Azure (Architecture, Build & Support) Cloud Concepts (Containers, HCI, Virtual Networking) Automation Tools (Python, PowerShell) DevOps & IaC Tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) Networking & Firewalls (Cisco, ASA, HPE, SDN) Microsoft Environments (Windows Server, Active Directory) Linux Systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE) Cloud Security Fundamentals SAN & Storage Systems (Nutanix, Nimble, VSAN) Backup & Recovery Solutions (Veeam, Asigra) Certifications Candidates should hold certifications in several of the following areas: VMware Certified Professional (VCP, VCAP) AWS Solutions Architect (Associate, Professional) Microsoft Azure (Technologies & Design Architect) Cisco (CCNA, CCNP) Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE) Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) Additional certifications (1–2) preferred
